Yulonda Royster

Founder

ATC Founder Yulonda Royster was born and raised in Minneapolis, MN. She's currently pursuing a BSW degree in Social Work. She worked in finance for 10 years prior to becoming a Violence Interrupter with the City of Minneapolis. For more than three years, her focus was de-escalating situations before turning violent, mentorship and connecting members of the community to pertinent resources. While serving in that capacity, she became compelled to fulfill her calling and start a nonprofit organization. 

Her personal experience in foster care and surviving domestic violence, fueled her passion to support at-risk youth. 

Darlene Riley, LICSW

Social Worker/Therapist

Darlene Riley was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree in Community Care and Counseling with a specialization in traumatology.

Darlene has over 30 years of experience in child welfare. She has worked as an advocate, social worker and social worker supervisor. 

For 22 years, she served as a licensed foster parent for more than 50 youth. She adopted six of the children she fostered.
